My Favourite Wedding Photography Moments From 2021

It has been a roller-coaster of a year, with plenty of doubt around every corner, and it feels like 2022 still has some surprises up her sleeve for us. What hasn't been in doubt though is the magic that has been present and that I've felt in every single one of my weddings from 2021. It has been a much welcomed reminder of what is important, when there is still so much disappointment, anxiety and loss still hanging around.

My family and I have faced many lows this year, but also many highs to be thankful for, and I feel that I have been somewhat still recovering from the impact of 2020, but I'm pleased to say we made it through 2021 smiling and ready for what 2022 may bring. I am going to grab 2022, somewhat gently(!) by the horns and make every moment count. I'm looking forward to driving my photography forward and can't wait to meet all my new couples and to be visiting new exciting venues.

I'd like to say a big thank you to all my wonderful couples from this year, it was a privilege to share your special day with you all. From Channels, to Colville Hall thank you all for your support. Here are some of my favourite shots from 2021, not necessarily because they are award-winning, or technically perfect, but because they have a special meaning to me - either because the moment just felt so special, or just plain funny, or it made me feel proud to be doing what I'm doing.

2022 is shaping up nicely, and I'm looking forward to shooting at Layer Marney Tower, Fennes, Rivenhall Oaks, to name but a few. I'll be at Rivenhall Oaks on the 6th Feb and Manor House on 20th Feb showcasing my work and meeting new clients at wedding fayres - do come along if you're free.

Here at GTS Photography we'd like to wish all our past, present and future couples a very happy new year - may it bring health, kindness and peace to us all. Here's to 2022! Our books are open to so do get in touch if you'd like us to photograph your wedding in 2022, 23 or even 2024!
